Leading multimedia digital signage systems supplier,
Saturn Communications has signed a deal with Sky News to distribute the
Sky News Digital Signage News service. The news service is integrated
within the Connectvision digital signage system and screens in offices,
call centres, healthcare, cinema and retail outlets.
The
Sky Digital Signage news service is designed specifically for digital
signage applications where the screen content is seen but not heard. It
features a combination of still images, video, flash animation and text
showing news, weather and show business and sports news.
“Saturn
Communications is an important strategic partner given their strong
market presence in the corporate and cinema markets. We've worked
closely with Saturn to ensure the Sky News Digital Signage service is
readily accessible to new and existing Connectvision users across a
range of screen sizes,” said James Weeks, executive producer New Media,
Sky News.
Connectvision digital signage allows
companies to deliver informative and targeted screen and screensaver
content to an entire organisation, individual business groups and teams
within a single office or offices nationally and internationally.
“Until
now users of Connectvision digital signage who wanted to show Sky News
had to take the normal service and simply turn down the sound. The
format and screen presentation of the Sky digital news service is ideal
for busy working environments where people only have time to look at
the screen for seconds. We look forward to working closely with Sky
News to develop the news service in line with Connectvision's Digital
Signage 2.0 developments,” Joe Till, Saturn Communications Group
commented.
